1. What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy describes how LifeVaulto native mobile apps (iOS and Android) handle information when you use vault, authentication, and sharing features.

2. Local Vault Data

Vault content you create (for example titles, document numbers, notes, categories, and metadata) is stored locally on your device.

LifeVaulto is built with a local-first storage approach and does not require cloud synchronization for core vault operations.

3. Biometric and Device Authentication

LifeVaulto uses platform authentication APIs to check whether biometric hardware is available and whether biometrics are enrolled on your device.

LifeVaulto does not collect or store raw biometric data such as fingerprint or face images. Biometric templates remain managed by your device operating system.

4. Connected and Shared Vault Features

When you use connected-vault or sharing workflows, data exchange is initiated by your actions in the app.

Connection codes and share details are intended for trusted recipients only. You are responsible for how you distribute those codes and with whom you share access.

5. Network Information

Some sharing/connection features may use local network information (such as local device IP context) to establish device-to-device communication.

These capabilities are used to operate app features and are not intended as advertising profiles.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your vault data remains on your device until you delete items, clear vault data, delete the vault, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove app/device data.

Certain delete actions in the app are irreversible and may permanently remove records.

7. What We Do Not Sell

We do not sell your personal vault data to third parties.

8. Children

LifeVaulto is not designed for use by children under the age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. The latest version is posted on this page with the updated date.
